OPENING HOURS

Oh Lala Picnics is a young business and our hours of opening are flexible to suit your needs, whilst working around our family life.

For the purpose of phone calls or consultations, I stick to general office hours of 9-5pm Monday to Friday, unless arranged otherwise.

Please Note – Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday I aim to be in the office and Thursday to Friday I like to be prepping your packages. Whilst I aim to get back to you as quickly as possible, in peak times it may take a little longer.

IS DELIVERY INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?

We include delivery up to 30kms from Bargo. Outside of the 30km radius, there is a extra charge for delivery (Please note we only currently delivery to Macarthur, Wollondilly, Southern Highlands & Wollongong. Should you be outside this area please contact us for a quote.) 

Whilst I try to keep delivery costs as low as possible, please be mindful I need to cover my time and petrol expenses when I quote for this.

HOW DO I CONFIRM AND PAY FOR MY ORDER?

All packages and neon light hire are subject to availability until you receive a confirmation email from us that your date is available, once confirmation is made a 30% deposit is to be paid to lock in your booking. You can pay this deposit via direct deposit into our bank account or pay credit card via Paypal, the rest will need to be paid 7 days prior to your event. 

IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?

Should you wish to cancel for any reason outside 30 days prior to your event, your deposit will be refundable. Any cancellations must be given in writing. Deposits will be forfeited if cancellation is within the 30 days of your event. Cancellation due to Covid-19 - In light of the current circumstances surrounding Covid-19 and Government restrictions that can occur without notice, unfortunately as per our terms the 30% deposit will still be non-refundable. Your deposit will be transferred to another date that is suitable. When it is safe to have your event again. If you choose to cancel and not get a credit with your deposit, the deposit will be forfeited. We are allowing a credit to remain on your account for one year.

WET WEATHER

Ahh the weather, the one thing that is out of our control! Don’t fear there are always options. We work with you in every way that we can to resolve weather predicaments.

Under no circumstances will Oh Lala Picnics proceed with set up in an unprotected location if wet weather occurs or is likely forecasted.

 

OPTION 1: you are free to postpone the event free of further charge on one occasion and one occasion only provided you give 1 weeks notice. Keep in mind the rescheduled date is subject to availability.

 

OPTION 2: Relocation of venue or hiring of a marquee, we are passionate about working alongside you to source a protected undercover venue or a wet weather solution. If relocation is preferred, we require the venue be preapproved by us to ensure suitability re accessibility and feasibility re scheduling. If the location is based outside of our servicing areas, please be advised further delivery charges will occur.

 

OPTION 3: Receive a gift voucher for the full amount, provided 1 weeks notice is given. This credit can be used with an expiry date of 12 months from issue.

Refunds will not be issued on the grounds of wet weather due to dates being held thus denying other bookings.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

You can pay via direct deposit into our bank account or use your credit card through Paypal. You don’t need to have a Paypal account to use this service. We also have afterpay available. Pay off your package in 4 fortnightly installments. (Think of it like a layby.) Note: There is a minimal fee if paying via credit card, which we are charged by Paypal. It’s a very small percentage of the overall cost.

PICK UP/DROP OFF TIMES FOR DIY PACKAGE

We will arrange this with you after you have paid you deposit and booking is confirmed and an email or text message will be sent confirm with you closer to your event date, depending on my schedule for that week. Generally speaking, pick up is on a Thursday or Friday and return is on a Sunday or Monday, we are flexible with this and will liase with you to work out a suitable time for both parties the week before your event. 

WHERE ARE WE LOCATED?

We are based in the suburb Bargo NSW 2574, which is approximately 45mins from Sydney, 30mins from Macarthur Areas. If you are picking up our DIY picnic package our address will  be provided to you in an email or text the week of your event.
